Help! Sam's birthday is March 8th and I have no idea what to do for a party. I would like to have a small party with a couple of friends. What would be cute for a 4 year old boy? I would need something simple, but fun.
Do you have any ideas?

I'm throwing Ben a gumball party for his 4th birthday in May. Just because he LOVES to buy gumballs from the gumball machine. I would do a party in whatever he really loves, and just be creative with it.

You are so creative. I'm still in awe over your Candyland cake (check it out on her blog on my sidebar).
I think Sam will love whatever you do - us March birthdays aren't too demanding. I just went to a 2-year-olds birthday and loved the cake they did. It was a Curious George cake just done in a bowl and then turned over. His face was done with frosting and Oreo's for the eyes. His ears were half a cupcake. It was really cute and looked pretty simple to do. That idea probably doesn't help with Sam, though.
