I finally posted!

Thanks for checking my blog even though it has been weeks and weeks since I last posted. I haven't had the time or emotional energy to blog but Vicki asked me when I was finally going to blog again. So Vicki, this one is for you. It is very long but hopefully enjoyable. Vicki, I hope you can read it before you have your baby (he should come any day now).
